The Beginnings of Nergame.
For this company, Nergame is more than just a game. It’s the platform where we want to bring our philosophy to life and show that everyone has control of their own history. That is why our users have the opportunity to take action from the moment they decide to stop being spectators and overcome the challenges we offer them with the intention that they can overcome themselves.
A bit of history
We thought that since you are part of this project, you deserve to know the story from the beginning, and who better than our founder Andrés D. Molins to tell it.
“It all started a few years ago. I realized that in today’s society there are many referents like influencers, YouTubers, streamers, etc. To advertise and make themselves known, all platforms feed on the influence of these people and that is why the success of each user depends on their number of subscribers.
I decided that I wanted to break with that pattern, creating a platform where users are valued for their own talent, assuring everyone the same number of viewers. I told my idea to a friend and we agreed that we could define it as a “New Epic Reality” idea from which our name came, Nergame. We had a lot of ideas but they seemed to be taken from a futuristic film, because at that time, at a technical level, the necessary advances did not exist, so we did not unearth this project until a few years later.
I was driving back from a trip, remembering that project, when I came up with a way to do it. At that time I was attending competitions in another game and I understood that I could offer users that spirit of improvement, in the same way, competing. Since my illusion was to make the platform the place to develop all the things I believe in and have always followed the blockchain world closely, I decided it was time to create my own cryptocurrency. Once my ideas were structured and agreed with my team, it was easy to understand the best time to market our cryptocurrency, Nercoin, so on 2 April 2021 at 14:06 (CET) it came true.”
To this day, our platform has been evolving with new functionalities and aspects that make it easier to work with our players and viewers.
